Baby Botox

What is “Baby Botox”?

So what actually is Baby Botox? Baby Botox is a term coined by the media which simply means a small dose of Botox.

Why does Luisa recommend it? This micro-dose means that you will have more expression than a larger dose, making it the perfect option for younger patients, first timers or people that might need to have expression for their jobs such as actors or teachers.  You will still have movement but the lines will be reduced.

Would it suit my skin type?  Baby Botox is perfect for those who are maybe starting out with treatment or younger patients. It’s suitable for any skin type, however anybody with deeper lines or static wrinkles may need a bigger dose treatment.

Which celebs are using it? It’s very common amongst celebrities to have just a tiny amount of Botox aka “Baby Botox” because it can go undetectable, giving a ‘no Botox’ look.

What happens during the treatment? The procedure is the same as a regular anti-wrinkle treatment which takes around 10 minutes to perform. It’s likely you’ll receive same number of injections as a larger dose, but in smaller quantities, so the finished look will be a softening of the lines.

How long for the treatment to take effect? Usually, the effects start to work within around 4 to 7 days and you’ll start to see results with the full effect after two weeks.

How long will results last for? As it’s a smaller dose the results will usually last approximately three months.

How many sessions are recommended? To maintain results, we recommend patients have this treatment four times a year.

How do I book? As with all injectable treatments, you are required to have a face to face consultation with our experienced nurse prescriber Luisa Scott.
