I love doing lips which earned me the name ‘Luisa Lips’ having performed many thousands of treatments i know what I’m talking about.  I have trained extensively and with some of the world thought leaders in lip augmentation such as Julie Horne and Tom Van Eijk.  I tailor my treatments to the individual so we can add volume or just restore what you have lost.  I pride myself on my work being natural but you can decide how subtle or dramatic you would like the finished look to be, allowing the treatment to be tailored to your desired aesthetic.

Lip fillers can not only improve the shape of your lips, but can also help to correct asymmetries and even cleft lips surgery enhancing their overall appearance.   1. Consultation: We start with a friendly, non-binding consultation. During this time, we listen to your expectations, discuss potential risks and explain the procedure in detail.
  2. Planning: Personalised treatment planning based on your unique facial structure. Every patient is unique and so is every treatment!
  3. Treatment: A gentle numbing cream is applied to ensure maximum comfort. High-quality, naturally derived and biodegradable fillers are then gently injected into the lips. This phase typically lasts between 20-30 minutes.
  4. Post-Treatment Review: This includes necessary aftercare instructions and a review appointment if necessary.

The procedure is largely pain free, with the exception of mild discomfort which is experienced due to the small needle injection involved. We can use a topical numbing cream or local anaesthetic injection depending on your preference You may notice some soreness in the injection site directly after the treatment, but this should subside quickly.

Lip fillers are generally considered safe when administered by experienced and qualified practitioners, yet it’s paramount to remember that every cosmetic procedure comes with its proportion of risk. However, it is essential to be aware that even when handled correctly, complications can still happen, although the odds are relatively low. Side effects are typically short-term—lasting around two weeks—and include redness, swelling, and tenderness.

Note that an allergic reaction to lip fillers is exceedingly rare. However, for you to be on the safe side, we undertake a detailed consultation to review your medical history and any possible allergies before proceeding with the treatment.

Remember, it’s important to follow the given aftercare instructions to prevent complications and achieve the best results. These will be spelled out to you in detail by our caring and dedicated team.

You can carry on with your day as normal, although we advise that you avoid strenuous activity/saunas/other facial treatments for up to 24 hours.

The results usually last for around 6-12 months after initial treatment and subsequent treatments will last for years.
