What is Profhilo? To summarise it is an injectable moisturiser that also remodels the ageing and sagging tissue. Because it is injected it therefore penetrates the dermis deeper and hydrates deeper than any topical cream could hope to.
Is it suitable for my skin type? It’s a perfect alternative for people who are opposed to the idea of using a filler and is the ultimate skin ‘pick me up’. Hydrates, smoothes skin and improves texture.
How many sessions will I need? Luisa is recommends to have a course of two treatments around four weeks apart and then treatments usually three times a year.

I handpicked this treatment for Newcastle Skin Clinic because it’s the biggest thing since Botox, known as an injectable moisturiser, offering intense hydration with the added bonus of trigging collagen and elastin production too.
It’s perfect for people who have thin, crepey skin that has lost its elasticity, but aren’t keen to try traditional filler.
The treatment is quick and minimally invasive, requiring just five injections of super-hydrating hyaluronic acid on each side of the face which over the course of a few weeks will subtly plump and smooth lines and wrinkles, hydrate the skin and stimulate collagen for an undetectable natural look.

What happens during the treatment?
Profhilo is injected into specific points in the skin and for up to 24hrs you can have small lumps which do subside.
How long until the treatment will take effect?
The treatment takes around 30mins and effects can be instantaneous, the results then continue to improve over the following days.
How long will results last for?
The results from the Profhilo treatment will most often last for up to six months, but results can differ for each individual.
