At Newcastle Skin Clinic we are thrilled to introduce new treatment HydraFacial to our skin care menu and our patients are loving the results they’re getting so far.

If you have been thinking about getting a HydraFacial treatment but are unsure if it’s right for you, we caught up with Nurse Luisa Scott for a quick Q&A, to get the low down on her most frequently asked questions about HydraFacial.

Q: What does HydraFacial do?

Luisa says, HydraFacial uses up to the minute technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate your skin. It’s a non-invasive treatment that’s also known as “hydradermabrasion” because it involves microdermabrasion-like exfoliation coupled with an array of incredible hydrating serums.
Luisa continues, “The HydraFacial is a 6-step treatment that immediately improves your skin’s texture, leaving it looking lifted, contoured and glowing; this is achieved using a mechanised wand designed to deeply clean and exfoliate the skin whilst delivering solutions customised to your individual skin type. HydraFacial’s Vortex-Fusion creates a vortex effect to dislodge and remove impurities easily, while simultaneously hydrating the skin with the a tailored-to-you solution.

Q: Are HydraFacial’s good for your skin?

A: Yes! HydraFacial is a totally customisable treatment that helps address all skincare needs and it can actually be a great ally in the treatment of a variety of common skin concerns, such as acne, dryness, fine lines and wrinkles”, Says Luisa.

Q: How long does the treatment take?

A: “The HydraFacial treatment is fast and effective, taking just 45 minutes and giving immediate results without irritation or downtime, which is why our patients absolutely love it”, Luisa says. She adds, “after the treatment, you can resume your normal activities and go about your day straight away. The results last up to a month and in the over a course of treatments, HydraFacial will also improve your skin’s overall health, as the bespoke solutions are designed to address any skin problems you might be facing which is why we’ve introduced a monthly subscription program too!

Q: What is used in HydraFacial?

A: “The HydraFacial superserums are made with nourishing ingredients that are hand-picked for your exact skin type, these include a plethora of vitamins, peptides, collagen and elastin.”, explains Luisa.

Q: How do I book a HydraFacial treatment?

A: Luisa says, “You can book a free consultation via our website using our online booking system. After a thorough consultation, I’ll curate a tailor-made solution to address your skin concerns to give you the results you are lusting after.”
